Mazon is a farming community of 1,400 people in Grundy County, about an hour southwest of Chicago via I-55. Take Exit 240 to Route 113 west for direct access, or connect through Morris on Route 47. The town sits along the Mazon River amid corn and soybean country, with EV charging available 8 miles away in Morris. Its 1918 grain elevator still towers over Main Street and operates during harvest.
