Mayville is a small Wisconsin city of 5,200 people located 50 miles northwest of Milwaukee via Highway 67 and Interstate 94. The Rock River flows through town, and rolling farmland surrounds the community. Highway 67 provides the main access route, connecting to I-94 near Johnson Creek, while Highway 28 runs east-west to Beaver Dam and Watertown. The town features one of Wisconsin's few remaining active limestone quarries, operational since the 1800s.
