Maynard is a farming town of 234 people in southwestern Minnesota's Chippewa County. Most visitors arrive via Highway 7, which connects to Highway 212 from the Twin Cities about 120 miles away. The grain elevator along the highway has been the town's most recognizable landmark for decades.
