Maurice is a tiny farming town in northwest Iowa, about 45 miles northeast of Sioux City via Highway 60. The main route runs north through Remsen, serving local commuters heading to Sioux City for work and services. From farther out, take I-29 to Sioux City, then Highway 75 north to Highway 60. The historic grain elevator still operates and can be spotted from miles away across the prairie.
