Marysville sits 40 miles north of Sacramento where two rivers meet in California's Central Valley. Highway 70 connects it to Sacramento and the Sierra foothills, while Route 20 runs east-west to Interstate 5. The flat farming region grows rice and almonds, with Yuba County Airport nearby. The town hosts the oldest continuously operating Bok Kai Temple in America, built by Chinese immigrants in 1880.
