Marsing is a small farming town in southwestern Idaho, about 25 miles west of Boise along the Snake River. Highway 55 connects it north to Nampa and Boise, while Highway 78 provides access from the south. The 30-minute drive from Boise passes through agricultural country and sagebrush hills typical of Idaho's high desert region. The town hosts the annual Snake River Stampede rodeo each July.
