Marmaduke is a small farming town of 1,240 people in northeastern Arkansas, about 15 miles from the Missouri border. Highway 141 runs through the center of town, connecting north to the Missouri line and south to Paragould. Most visitors arrive via Highway 412 from either Paragould or the Missouri Bootheel. The town's grain elevator dominates the skyline above the surrounding cotton and soybean fields.
