Marlin is a small county seat in Central Texas, about 20 miles southeast of Waco via US Highway 6. The town sits in rolling prairie country and serves as a gateway to rural Falls County. Highway 6 connects north to Waco and I-35, while State Highway 7 runs east-west through town. Marlin's claim to fame is its natural hot springs, which made it a popular health resort in the early 1900s.
