Marland is a small Oklahoma town in Noble County, about 20 miles southeast of Ponca City via US Highway 177. Most visitors drive north from Stillwater (45 miles) or make the 85-mile trip from Oklahoma City through Guthrie. The town was named after oil baron Ernest Marland, who struck it rich here before becoming governor.
