Marion sits in north-central Ohio at the junction of I-71 and State Route 95, about 45 miles north of Columbus. The city serves as Marion County's seat and is easily reached via I-71 from Columbus or Cleveland, with US Route 23 providing an alternate north-south route. Marion is famous for the Warren G. Harding Home, where the 29th president ran his winning 1920 "front porch campaign" from his actual front porch.
