Marietta is a tiny Mississippi town of under 200 people in Prentiss County, about 30 miles north of Tupelo on US Highway 45. State Route 4 crosses through town, and I-22 is 20 miles south for longer trips to Birmingham or Memphis. The old railroad depot from the Mobile and Ohio line still stands as a reminder of when trains brought the town to life.
