Marble Rock is a tiny farming town in north-central Iowa where Highway 14 cuts straight through the middle. It's about 12 miles south of Charles City and 20 miles north of Hampton, making it a quick pit stop for travelers heading between Waterloo and the Minnesota border. The town got its name from old limestone quarries along the Shell Rock River.
