Marble Hill is a small Missouri town of about 1,800 people in the southeastern part of the state, roughly 90 miles south of St. Louis. Highway 34 runs east-west through town, connecting to Perryville and Interstate 55 about 25 miles away. State Route 51 provides north-south access to Cape Girardeau and Jackson. The town sits in rolling Ozark foothills with a continental climate featuring hot summers and mild winters. The name comes from limestone bluffs along Crooked Creek that early settlers mistook for marble.
