Marble City is a tiny community of 165 people in eastern Oklahoma's Sequoyah County, reached via State Highway 9 from Fort Smith, Arkansas (30 miles east) or from I-40 near Sallisaw. The rolling hills and oak woodlands experience hot summers and mild winters. EV charging is available in nearby Sallisaw. The town gets its name from limestone bluffs that early settlers mistook for marble.
