Maramec is a tiny Oklahoma community of 34 people in Pawnee County, reached via US Highway 64 from Tulsa (45 miles southeast) or Oklahoma City (90 miles south). The town sits amid rolling prairie farmland typical of north-central Oklahoma. Its historic one-room red brick schoolhouse remains a preserved piece of rural educational history.
