Mantua is a small mountain community in northern Utah, about 15 miles northeast of Brigham City via I-15 Exit 362 and Highway 89. The town sits at nearly 5,000 feet elevation in a valley surrounded by agricultural land and foothills. Most visitors arrive from Brigham City or Logan using US 89, while Salt Lake City is about 90 minutes south on I-15. The centerpiece is Mantua Reservoir, created by a distinctive 90-foot concrete arch dam built in 1966.
