Mansfield is Wright County's seat in Missouri's Ozark foothills, positioned along Highway 5 about 45 miles southeast of Springfield. Most visitors arrive via Highway 60 east from Springfield to Seymour, then south on Highway 5, which serves as the main north-south route through the area. The 1924 red brick courthouse with its prominent clock tower dominates the town square.
