Malvern sits 45 miles southwest of Little Rock along Highway 9, serving as Hot Spring County's seat in Arkansas's pine-covered foothills. Highway 9 connects north to Interstate 30 near Benton, while Highway 84 runs east-west through town toward Hot Springs National Park. The Acme Brick Company's massive plant here has earned Malvern the title "Brick Capital of the World" since 1891.
