Malvern is a small city of about 1,900 people in southeastern Alabama's Geneva County, near the Florida border. Located on State Route 87, it's about 25 miles south of Enterprise and close to Fort Rucker's Cairns Army Airfield. The area features rolling pine forests and farmland typical of rural Alabama. The town preserves a 1920s one-room schoolhouse that now serves as a local history museum.
