Maloy is a tiny farming community in southern Iowa's Ringgold County with just 30 residents. Located along County Road P71, it's about 15 miles from Mount Ayr and 25 miles from Creston, where residents go for services. US Highway 34 runs about 10 miles north through Creston, providing the main route for out-of-town visitors. The town maintains its own post office despite its small size.
