Magee is a small city in south-central Mississippi, located on Highway 49 between Jackson and Hattiesburg. It's about an hour's drive from either city, making it a convenient stop along this major north-south route. The town sits in rolling pine country typical of the region and is home to Magee General Hospital, one of the few remaining critical access hospitals serving rural Mississippi communities.
