Magazine is a small Arkansas River Valley town of about 1,000 people in Logan County. Take Highway 22 from I-40 at Ozark (15 miles west) or from Fort Smith (45 miles east). The town is named after nearby Mount Magazine, Arkansas's highest peak at 2,753 feet.
