Madison is a tiny Westmoreland County community of 355 people, sitting 30 miles southeast of Pittsburgh along the Youghiogheny River valley. Take US Route 119 south from Pittsburgh through Connellsville, or exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Donegal and head southwest on local roads. The town features several historic stone bridges spanning creeks that flow into the Youghiogheny River.
