Macomb is a tiny rural community of 22 people in Pottawatomie County, about 35 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. Take I-40 east to the Shawnee exit, then Highway 3 southeast for 15 miles to reach this farming settlement on the rolling Oklahoma prairie. The community's historic one-room schoolhouse from the early 1900s still stands along the old territorial roads.
