Macedonia is a suburban city in northeast Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Akron on Interstate 77. The 25-mile drive from Cleveland or 15-mile trip from Akron makes it popular for day visits. State Routes 8 and 82 provide additional access through rolling terrain typical of the Western Reserve. The city sits near Cuyahoga Valley National Park, home to the impressive 65-foot Brandywine Falls.
