Macclesfield is a small farming town in eastern North Carolina's Edgecombe County, about 25 minutes southeast of Rocky Mount via US Highway 64. The main route through town is US 64, with Highway 122 providing north-south connections to Tarboro and surrounding rural communities. Rocky Mount Wilson Regional Airport is about 25 miles northwest for air travelers. The restored 1920s Macclesfield Depot serves as the town's community center and local history museum.
