Lyons is a small Michigan city of about 900 people located along the Grand River, roughly 25 miles northeast of Grand Rapids. Most visitors arrive via I-96, exiting at Portland Road or connecting through Lowell on M-21. The town sits in rolling farmland typical of western Michigan and is home to the historic Lyons Mill, a working 1800s gristmill that still grinds flour using original water-powered millstones.
