The city sits at a major crossroads where I-80 meets several north-south routes like Torrence Avenue. Most visitors arrive on I-80 from either Chicago or Indiana, while locals use Chicago Road for daily trips. The distinctive Lynwood Water Tower, visible from the interstate, has been guiding travelers since the 1960s.
