Lynwood is a compact city in LA County, about 10 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. I-105 runs along its southern edge, connecting west to LAX and east to the 605 and 710 freeways. Atlantic Boulevard (SR-19) is the main north-south route, while Imperial Highway handles east-west traffic. The city features an impressive collection of Chicano murals along Atlantic Boulevard, including one massive tribute that covers an entire city block.
