Lyndon is a suburban city in Jefferson County, about 15 miles southeast of Louisville via I-264. The main drag is US 60 (Shelbyville Road), which connects to neighboring suburbs and downtown Louisville. It's a convenient base for airport access, sitting about 20 miles from Louisville Muhammad Ali International. The city preserves Oxmoor Farm, a 600-acre historic property once owned by Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis's family.
