Lyndon is a small county seat along US Highway 75 in east-central Kansas, about 50 miles from Kansas City. The town sits amid rolling prairie farmland, connected by US 75 running north-south and Highway 31 going east-west. The 1929 Osage County Courthouse anchors the town square with its Art Deco limestone design and copper-domed clock tower.
