Lyndon is a small farming town in northwestern Illinois with about 400 residents, located 25 miles northeast of the Quad Cities along the Rock River valley. Take Route 2 from Sterling or Oregon, or exit I-88 at Hillsdale and drive north through rural countryside. The town's restored 1870s railroad depot serves as a local history museum.
