Lyman is a small Wyoming town on Interstate 80, about halfway between Salt Lake City and Cheyenne. Most people pass through on I-80, though locals use Highway 413 to reach nearby Mountain View. The town sits at 6,700 feet in high desert country with cold, snowy winters and warm summers. The 1922 Lyman High School building remains a local landmark from the railroad era.
