Luther is a small city of about 1,600 people located 25 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. Take I-35 north to the Luther Road exit, or use Highway 66 for a more scenic western approach. The town sits in rolling prairie country with patches of oak woodlands, experiencing hot summers and mild winters typical of central Oklahoma. Luther hosts an annual Peach Festival each July, honoring its heritage as a former peach-growing center.
