Lumberport is a small river town in Harrison County, West Virginia, accessible via US Route 50 about 8 miles west of Clarksburg. The community sits in the West Fork River valley with typical Appalachian terrain and four-season weather. Most visitors arrive from Clarksburg or use Route 50 for cross-state travel, with I-79 providing highway access to the east. The restored lumber company store on Main Street now houses a community center and local history museum.
