Lula is a tiny Delta town of about 200 people on Highway 61, twelve miles south of Clarksdale in Mississippi's cotton country. Most visitors follow the famous "Blues Highway" 61 through flat farmland to reach this historic route marker. The town sits where the Sunflower River winds through some of the richest agricultural soil in America, with Thompson-Robbins Airport nearby serving crop dusters and small aircraft.
