Lucas sits along US 232 in north-central Kansas, just 10 miles south of I-70. This Russell County town of 400 people draws visitors primarily for the Garden of Eden, an extraordinary folk art site featuring over 150 concrete sculptures created by Civil War veteran Samuel Dinsmoor.
