Loyall is a small Appalachian community in southeastern Kentucky's Harlan County, home to 388 residents in coal country's mountainous terrain. US Highway 421 runs through town, connecting north to Harlan and eventually to Interstate 75 near Corbin about 45 miles away. The post office operates from its original early 1900s building, still serving as a community hub.
