Lowry Crossing is a small city of about 1,400 people in eastern Collin County, 45 miles northeast of Dallas. Most visitors arrive via US-380 east through McKinney, then south on FM-543. The volunteer fire department operates from a red brick station that serves as both emergency response center and community meeting place.
