Lovilia is a small farming town in south-central Iowa, about 45 miles southeast of Des Moines via Highway 14. Most visitors drive up from Albia or down from Knoxville, where you can hop on I-35 for longer trips. It's one of those classic Iowa agricultural communities with rolling hills and cornfields stretching in every direction. The town still has a preserved one-room schoolhouse from 1967 right on Main Street.
