Lovelock is a small Nevada town at the junction of Interstate 80 and US Highway 95, about 90 minutes northeast of Reno. It's a popular rest stop for cross-country travelers and connects northern Nevada to Las Vegas via Highway 95. The town sits in high desert at 4,000 feet with the Humboldt River nearby. Lovelock is famous for its Love Lock Plaza, where couples attach padlocks to a heart-shaped sculpture as symbols of their relationship.
