Lostine is a tiny mountain town in Oregon's remote Wallowa Valley, serving as a jumping-off point for the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Highway 82 from La Grande is the main route in, winding 70 miles through spectacular mountain scenery. The Lostine River flows directly through downtown, offering some of the best trout fishing in eastern Oregon right from the main street.
