Los Panes is a tiny mountain community in central Puerto Rico with under 200 residents, reached via PR-1 from San Juan (30 km) or PR-52 from the south coast through Caguas. The settlement sits in the Cordillera Central where cooler mountain breezes temper the tropical heat. EV charging is available in nearby Caguas. The name "Los Panes" refers to the bread loaf-shaped hills that surround this remote village.
