Longville is a tiny lake community of 138 people in Minnesota's Chippewa National Forest region. Highway 84 runs through town, connecting to Highway 371 from the Twin Cities (150 miles) or Bemidji (50 miles). The area draws visitors to numerous lakes and resorts, with dense forests providing spectacular fall colors. The town hosts weekly turtle races at the local saloon during summer.
