Longton is a tiny farming town of about 300 people in southeastern Kansas, roughly 90 miles from Wichita. Reach it via US-160, the main east-west route that cuts right through town. Most traffic comes from nearby farms or travelers heading between Kansas and Oklahoma. The massive concrete grain elevator dominates the skyline and serves as a landmark visible for miles across the prairie.
