Lone Wolf is a small farming town of 410 people in southwestern Oklahoma, accessible via US Highway 183 which runs north to Hobart and south toward Texas. From Oklahoma City, take I-40 west to Exit 101 near Weatherford, then US 183 south about 45 miles. The town sits in rolling plains dotted with wheat fields and cattle ranches. The water tower features a distinctive wolf silhouette honoring the Kiowa chief the town was named after.
