Loda is a tiny farming town in east-central Illinois, about 90 miles south of Chicago. Take I-57 to the Onarga exit, then head west on County Road 2000 North. Most folks drive the 25 miles to Champaign-Urbana for work and shopping. The town hosts its annual Loda Fun Days festival each summer, featuring a Main Street parade that's been running since 1975.
