Lockesburg is a small Arkansas town of 873 people in Sevier County, near the Oklahoma border. Highway 71 runs right through town, connecting it north to De Queen (15 miles) and south toward Texas, while Highway 24 provides east-west access to rural county communities. The historic downtown features original early 1900s brick buildings from its days as a Kansas City Southern railroad stop.
