Route 370 hugs the lakeshore east to Syracuse, while I-690 west connects to the Thruway for longer trips. Syracuse Hancock International Airport is 12 miles southeast. The village anchors the western end of Onondaga Lake Park's 7-mile Erie Canal trail system.
