Littleton is a small town in northeastern North Carolina's Halifax County, connected primarily by US Highway 158 running east-west through town. The highway links to Rocky Mount 45 minutes southeast and extends west toward the Triangle area, while I-95 sits about 30 miles east via Roanoke Rapids. The town centers around the historic Littleton College campus, founded in 1882, whose red-brick Victorian buildings define Main Street.
